Miljoeservice Vest is a plant especially dedicated as a recipient of
waste oil products.
The plant is situated in Boevaagen south of Karmoey Bridge.
The plant has a tank capacity of abt. 3.500 cubm total and they have
two vacuum tanker trucks, one of 10 cubm and one of 12 cubm capacity,
plus a trailer of 15 cubm. These are the tanker trucks normally used to
receive for example engine room sludge's from vessels loading at Kaarstoe
Gas Terminal.
If a larger quantity of waste oil is to be disposed of, a barge of 70
cubm capacity may also be called in from Stavanger.
The jetty is abt. 48 metres long and water depth alongside is abt. 4,9
metres.
