Kvitsoey Pilot Station – There are 3 boarding grounds - Vessels
are requested to call Pilot Station on Cannel 13 or 16 two hours prior
to arrival pilot boarding ground for information/instruction.

| Tugs |
The use of tugs for berthing and unberthing is not compulsory. The use
of tugs is left to the joint discretion of the Master and the Pilot. However,
larger vessels will normally use two tugs. Several tugs of abt. 35 tonnes
bollard pull are available on call.

| Cargo handling |
Length of main jetty is 270 metres. Max. draught alongside is 11,9 metres.
Shore gear is normally used for cargo handling:
1 crane, one grab crane and 2 suckers are available.
Vessels discharging Alumina will be discharged from two hatches simultaneously
– by a grab crane from one hatch and by two suckers from
the other hatch.
The Ro/Ro jetty is can accommodate vessels up to max LOA of 125 metres.
Max. draught alongside Ro/Ro jetty is 11 metres.
